Matrox Imaging launches Authorized Integrator Program in Europe
European integrators develop turn-key vision systems crafted with the best components in the industry
November 3, 2009, Stuttgart, Germany Following a successful launch in North America, Matrox Imaging is pleased to bring its Authorized Integrator Program to Europe. The Matrox Authorized Integrator Program will help European manufacturers find qualified, local machine vision consultants to integrate vision systems into their manufacturing processes. Matrox Imaging European Sales Manager Sam Lopez says "The Authorized Integrator Program means that European manufacturers will be able to look in their own back yards and find local vision experts with the knowledge and experience to build powerful turn-key imaging solutions."
Systems integrators who join the program receive several benefits that include preferential pricing on Matrox Imaging hardware and software products, pre-qualified sales leads, personalized applications support, as well as frequent training sessions and marketing support. "These systems integrators come to Matrox Imaging because they want a business relationship with an industry leader who has a global presence," notes Lopez.
Clients who use a Matrox Imaging Authorized Integrator benefit from a turn-key system crafted by a vision specialist and constructed with the best components in the industry. Matrox Imaging smart cameras, imaging computers, frame grabbers, the field-proven Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) and Matrox Design Assistant software are tools that set the standard for the price/performance ratio clients expect.
Matrox GatorEye industrial camera features IP67 rating
November 3, 2009, Stuttgart, Germany. At Vision 2009, Matrox Imaging is announcing an industrial IP67-rated camera for machine vision applications: Matrox GatorEye.
"Machine vision is used in many different types of industrial applications, and vision systems are often placed in less than ideal conditions," explains Fabio Perelli, Product Manager, Matrox Imaging. "Factory environments can be dusty or damp, and vibrations from industrial equipment can put stresses on the camera. The Matrox GatorEye camera is designed for the harshest and most demanding environments, and we built it with a sturdy, dust-proof and washable casing."
Matrox GatorEye is currently available in six sensor configurations: 640x480 @ 110fps 1/3" monochrome or color CCD; 1280x960 @ 22fps 1/3" monochrome or color CCD; and 1600 x 1200 @ 15fps 1/1.8" monochrome or color CCD. For connectivity to external devices, Matrox GatorEye includes an opto-coupled trigger input, strobe output, eight GPIOs and a controlled current source for driving LED illuminators directly. Finally, the camera can be powered either by 12-24 Volts DC, which is common in industrial environments, or by Power over Ethernet (PoE), where both power and Ethernet streams share the same, single cable.
Matrox GatorEye will be available in Q1 2010.
